The Empire Hotel is located in Queenstown, Tasmania.

 

The Empire is home to 20 different rooms, from single bed, shared bathroom facilities, to spacious recently renovated, queen rooms with ensuite. All our bathrooms and ensuites are recently renovated and finished with a modern touch.

The Empire is the perfect place to rest your head on your adventure through the West Coast.

  • What facilities do you have for mountain bikes?
    At The Empire you have access to a key coded secure area, which is under 24 hour camera surveillance. Located at basement level, you can utilise bathrooms with showers, bike stands, drying cabinets for your gear, maintenance stands and coin operated washer and dryer. We also have the basic equipment you need to fix minor bike repairs onsite.
  • Is room service available?
    Room service is available, and at no additional charge. Please see our menu HERE
  • What time is check out?
    Check out time is 10am.
  • Can I save by booking directly?

  • Will my MTB be stored securely?
    Yes, our MTB area is under 24 hour camera surveillance and has key coded access.
  • There is an after hours emergency, how do we contact you?
    Our after hours emergency number is located on our room booklets, the accommodation information you received at check-in, and on your booking confirmation.
  • Is Wi-Fi available?
    Wi-Fi is available at no charge throughout the hotel. Please find the Wi-Fi password on your room booklet, on the accommodation information you received at check-in, or please ask one of our friendly team members.
  • How do I access your rooms?
    The accommodation at The Empire is located on level 1. Access to all of our rooms is via our heritage listed staircase.
  • What time is check-in?
    Check-in is available from 2pm.

  • We are expecting to arrive late into Queenstown, how do we check-in?
    If you are expecting to arrive after 9pm, please contact us directly so we can make check-in arrangements with you. Please phone us on 03 6471 1699
  • Is breakfast included?
    A Complimentary continental breakfast is provided to all guests staying with us at The Empire. Breakfast includes toast, assorted cereal, fruit, tea, coffee and fruit juice. Breakfast is available in our dining room from 7am to 9am daily.
  • Do rooms have cooking facilities?
    None of the rooms at The Empire have cooking facilities. Our ensuite rooms have tea and coffee facilities and fridges. We also have a shared lounge on level 1, that has a microwave and fridge.
